Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Rentley platform operated by Realstake Ventures Private Limited. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rentley platform operated by Realstake Ventures Private Limited (hereinafter "We", "Us", or "Rentley"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations of India. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users — including Tenants and Property Owners — and any other individuals who access or use the Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our platform.

2. Eligibility & User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use this platform. By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree not to share your password or allow any third party to access your account.
You must notify us immediately at contact@rentley.in upon becoming aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
Rentley reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these Terms.

3. Platform Roles & Responsibilities

For Property Owners

Owners are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings. All images must be genuine photographs of the actual property. Owners must ensure they hold the legal right to rent the listed property. Misleading, fraudulent, or duplicate listings will be removed without notice, and the account may be permanently suspended.

For Tenants

Tenants agree to provide accurate and honest profile information. The platform must only be used for genuine housing searches. Any form of harassment, spamming, or misrepresentation to property owners is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination without refund.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

Posting false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or offensive content.
Attempting to access, tamper with, or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or security systems.
Using automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to collect data from the platform without prior written consent.
Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law, including the IT Act, 2000.
Sharing any content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property

The Rentley platform, including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Realstake Ventures Private Limited and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for its intended purpose. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written permission.

6. Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

7. Limitation of Liability

Rentley is a technology platform that facilitates connections between property owners and prospective tenants. We are expressly not a real estate agent, broker, or party to any rental agreement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing or the conduct of any user.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Realstake Ventures Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to Rentley in the preceding 12 months.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Rentley does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant or make any representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the platform.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
